Millions of people around the world are displaced each year in the context of disasters and climate change and require support and projection. There is a lot we can learn from each other.

RDI has the pleasure to present at a virtual event at the European Forum for Disaster Risk Reduction (EFDRR) entitled “Putting Words into Action: Addressing Disaster Displacement in DRR Strategies ad Practice”

This event is co-organized by the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) and Global Network of Civil Society Organisations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR) and it will discuss what States and civil society actors can do to reduce disaster displacement risk and address disaster displacement in policies and practice. Thus, this will also showcase the “Words into Action” Guidelines on Disaster Displacement along with its checklist and eLearning tool.
