The Notion of Family-Friendly City

One of our senior fellow researcher, Dr Riela Provi Drianda, gave a lecture about The Notion of Family-Friendly city: finding the best place to raise a family. This presentation discussed about the new approach for city development that not only focusing on children but a family as a whole. This study was in initial phase and will be conducted in Japan where Dr Riela live. This approach will consider the family from children to the grandparents. The existing condition of when the family have limited access to some important service such as daycare, laundry, and others. She also explained about some approach from real estate and property that consider the need of the family as a whole in Japan.
