DIBICOO: The 4th Digital Global Biogas Cooperation (DiBiCoo) Steering Committee (SC) and Review Meeting

The 4^th Digital global Biogas Cooperation (DiBiCoo) Steering Committee (SC) and Review Meeting initially planned to be conducted in Vienna, Austria was conducted virtually 15 - 26 March 2021. The meeting served as a checkpoint for the SC together with the European Union Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) to evaluate the ongoing project. During the 4^th SC Meeting, key issues pivotal throughout the implementation of the project were also discussed in addressing the existing challenges and mitigating the risks that may occur during the lifespan of the project. As the leader of Working Package (WP) 3, RDI reported the successful implementation of all the milestones, including the mapping of all biogas stakeholders and key players and conducted local stakeholder workshops, and had comply all objectives of the local stakeholder workshops. Ultimately, the meeting identified issues related to the importance of identification of financing opportunities, the importance of government incentives, and the need for human resource development for the implementation of the biogas technology.
