Event Recap for Preparatory Days GPDRR 2022

The Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction 2022 is officially started!

This is the first time Indonesia becomes the host of GPDRR and we are thrilled to be a part of this special occasion! As for now, we have collected some of the highlights for Preparatory Days of GPDRR 2022 which have already been conducted from 23 until 24 May 2022.

1.  The Opening Ceremony of Rumah Resiliensi Indonesia at GPDRR 2022 Bali, Indonesia

Minister of Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affair, Muhadjir Effendy officiated the opening of Rumah Resiliensi Indonesia (Resilience House of Indonesia) at Bali Collection, Nusa Dua. RDI supported by GIZ Indonesia presented our activities related to disaster risk reduction particularly related to adaptive social protection in the booth as part of activities of Rumah Resiliensi Indonesia. This event involved all stakeholders who aims to share their experience and possible collaboration in tackling disaster risk reduction and climate adaptation.
